Sirry Jons (a.k.a. Sirry Kidd)

as RENEE

Sirry Jons was born and raised in the small town of Keflavik in Iceland. At the age of 17 she moved to Spain and continued for the next years to travel around the world.

Her film debut took place in Iceland where she discovered acting by chance when she was cast as a femme fatale in a small but pivotal role in the indie film "USSSS". From then on she decided to leave Iceland and pursue acting in Hollywood. She had neither money, nor connections, nor a work permit, but that didn't deter her. She overcame all these obstacles one by one and has since appeared in numerous short films (such as "Patriot Acts" and "Alien Secrets"), plays (including a role as Lucy in "Dracula" and as Laura in Strindberg's "The Father") and features ("A Gothic Romance, "The Appearance of Things") as well as a music video and an online vampire TV-series.

It was whilst studying at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute that she met director Marianne Hansen. The two have since embarked on a fruitful partnership. They have worked on two plays together and Sirry also starred as Alice in Marianne's thesis short "Alice Rose" and also plays the lead in her debut feature "Lapse".
